Care Initiatives Joins the HealthNet connect Consortium

West Des Moines, Iowa – HealthNet connect is pleased to announce that Care Initiatives, the largest single operator of nursing homes and skilled nursing care in Iowa, is now a member of the most innovative eHealth consortium in the nation. Care Initiatives will be connecting all 52 locations to HealthNet connect’s private fiber optic network and receiving high speed Internet through HNc Services, to be completed by the end of 2016.

HealthNet connect is transforming health care in the Midwest through its extensive fiber optic network by enabling health care providers such as Care Initiatives the ability to privately and securely exchange medical information and provide care at a distance.
